United for Warmer Homes Havant FOE and Havant Climate Alliance inviting local groups to join us at the Public Service Plaza on Tuesday 13/12 from 2-4pm. Energy Efficiency Now Jeremy Hunt has pledged to double annual energy efficiency investment with new funding of £6bn, but not until 2025. A £5 billion a year home insulation programme, focused on those most in need first, would cut the UK’s gas use, slash energy bills, create jobs and cut carbon emissions. Southern Water Lots of people demonstrated against sewage in the Solent on Saturday. The issue is getting lots of publicity but do keep telling people about it putting pressure on MPs etc. There are now three consultations about the future of our water supply and of course there are lots of issues around recycling effluent and piping it to Havant Thicket Reservoir.
